The World Usability
Day is celebrated from 2005 on the second Thursday of November. This holiday is
devoted to the practicality and convenience of using interactive services,
electronics and communications.
In addition,
usability refers to the effectiveness of using mechanical tools and tools that
perform their functions properly. In a word, all these definitions can be
called in one word – practicality.
The usability day
was devised in order to raise public awareness about the need to simplify the
use of and access to products and services, since this fact is very important
for a comfortable life of a person.
The holiday is
held under the slogan "Make it easier!". Today, technological
advancement seeks to make everything that surrounds us comfortable, simple and
effective. At the same time, an important part of this process is to ensure the
high quality of all the techniques used by us in our everyday lives.
